Third step to Seketi roots and culture : after recording my first Seketi take at home (track 2), I felt I really had to go in my singer's village, in upper Surinam river, in Surinam. Where all the Saramaka story began.
So I took my floating studio in a boat, and crossed borders and rainforest to get in Kampoe, in Goddo district, where I recored 30 songs in 3 days...
This is only one of them.

Many thanks to the singers : Fancelia, Ileina, Ndjuka Muie, Atooline, and of course Claudia Kwasiba, Captain Alimbo, Sayu, Basia Kobi and all my Saramaka community.
All tracks were mixed and mastered by Benjamin Matthieu for Road Studio (Lille, France).
The project is now to make a real album with those great performers.
